Searching Your Books
Simply search for your books by entering the ISBN (the ISBN is a 10 or 13 digit number on the back of your book near the barcode), Title, Author, or Keyword into our search field. To insure complete accuracy, search by the ISBN if at all possible as that is the book's unique identifier and will guarantee you are ordering the correct book.

Renting Your Books
Select the correct book from your displayed list of choices and choose the correct textbook rental period depending on how long you will need the book (see the Rental Period information directly below). Then simply continue shopping for more textbooks or checkout. You will be asked to login to your account during the checkout process (see Registration below).

Our 30 day Guarantee (Refunds, Dropped Classes, etc.)
Any book returned within the first 30 days after the order date will be refunded 100%. Please do not wait for your prepaid shipping envelope to arrive if you are returning a book. Simply print off a return label from inside your customer account. Orders that are 45 days or less will be subject to a 15 day return policy. This means the book has to be back at our warehouse within 15 days of the original order date. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we see the refund policy is being abused.

Rental Periods
We have structured our textbook rental periods to fit the needs of a college student. The last thing we want is you worrying about not getting your book back to us on time. We have incorporated, at no extra charge, a 15 day grace period which allows you to rent your book early or hold on to it late in the case of a later than normal final exam. Each rental period and our grace period are discussed in detail below.

Grace Period
All of our rental periods come with a 15 (fifteen) day grace period. We've been in your shoes. Sometimes you would like to get your books early, or you need to take a make-up final exam. Our 15 day grace period allows you the flexibility to hold on to the book long enough to get you through to the bitter end. Don't hesitate to use it. That's why it's there! The grace period applies to all rental periods below (for example, the 130 day rental period allows a student to keep the book for 145 days if necessary at absolutely no extra cost). The grace period does not apply to any rental/extension after the original rental period.

Semester (130 days)
This rental period was designed for students attending full semesters. The rental period begins on the day your books are delivered and ends 130 (one hundred thirty) days thereafter. All textbooks rented under this rental period must be postmarked by the 130th day from the day your books were delivered, unless you are taking advantage of the 15 day grace period. Quarter (85 days)
This rental period is used mainly by students on quarters or in a Master’s program. The rental period begins on the day your books are delivered and ends 85 (eighty-five) days thereafter. All textbooks rented under this rental period must be postmarked by the 85th day from the day your books were delivered, unless you are taking advantage of the 15 day grace period. Summer (55 days)
This rental period is used mainly by students taking summer courses or those taking intense (condensed) courses year round. The rental period begins on the day your books are delivered and ends 55 (fifty-five) days thereafter. All textbooks rented under this rental period must be postmarked by the 55th day from the day your books were delivered, unless you are taking advantage of the 15 day grace period. Rental Extensions
We offer 15 and 30 day extensions if you find yourself needing to keep your book just a bit longer. Extending your rental period is easy. Simply access your account, choose the amount of time to extend, and checkout. Your account will be updated to show the new rental period. 

Re-Renting Your Books
If you need to retake a class you can re-rent your book for 30% less than the original rental price. This still saves you big time over purchasing it. Simply access your account, select the “Re-Rent” button and continue the checkout process. Your account will be updated to show the new due date. 

Receiving Your Books
After placing your order, please allow 24-48 hours for processing (excluding weekends and major holidays). Your books will be shipped from either the CampusBookRentals.com warehouse or the warehouse of one of our suppliers. Books may arrive in one or separate packages, and may or may not bear the markings of CampusBookRentals.com depending on availability from our direct warehouse. After the processing period, please allow 7-14 business days for standard shipping, and 5-8 business days for expedited shipping. If your book has not arrived by the expected arrival date, contact us immediately. We have a top notch team of problem solvers.

USPS logo Returning Your Books - Free and Easy
WE PROVIDE YOUR RETURN ENVELOPE!! That's right, after your books arrive, we'll send you an envelope that has a prepaid and pre-addressed USPS shipping label already attached. Simply open the envelope, place your book(s) inside, and drop the package off at the nearest U.S. Postal Service blue mailbox or Post Office. This insures that your books are returned to the correct location, and rock solid tracking built into each label gives you confidence your books will make it back safely. It's one more thing we do to make the textbook rental process as painless as possible. When we receive your textbooks, your account will be updated to show they were returned and you'll receive a confirmation email. This process completes the rental cycle.

Buying Your Book
If you decide you want to keep your book forever, simply access your account and select the book or books you wish to buy. Then select the "Buy and Keep My Books" button. This amount is the difference between what you already paid in rental fees and the value of the book. If you decide to purchase the book, simply complete the checkout process. Your account will be updated to show the new status. This is why renting is truly risk free.
