We at CampusBookRentals.com are very appreciative of your business and understand
the financial strain of college life. After all, we've been there.
We guarantee to follow the terms of our rental agreement and provide you with a
textbook that matches your order. The books you receive may be hardback or paperback
at the discretion of CampusBookRentals.com and depending on availability from our
suppliers at the time of order. Books may also be an instructor's version if it
is determined by CampusBookRentals.com and our suppliers that the instructor's version
is identical to the student version (besides instructor comments). Books will be
in new or acceptable used condition depending on availability at the time of order.
Our policy is to rent only US Edition textbooks. Unlike many online booksellers,
we guarantee our books to be US Editions. Supplemental materials, such as
student access codes, CD ROMs, or supplemental workbooks are not guaranteed to come
with your books
. Although we strive to find books which include
all their supplements, many such materials are one-time use and are not available
through our suppliers. Be sure before you order that you either have access to these
supplements or that you don’t truly need them for your class.
Refund and Return Policy - Our 21 Day Guarantee
No hassles. No worries.
Any book returned within the first 21 days after
the order date will be refunded 100%. Please do not wait for your prepaid shipping
envelope to arrive if you are returning a book. Simply print off a return label
from inside your customer account.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we
see the refund policy is being abused.
Prices are subject to change at any given time; however, once you have added
a book to your shopping cart, the price will remain the same throughout the checkout
process, unless your cart expires (a full 45 min. is offered for completing your order).
If you leave our website, the price may change by the time you return.
Errors in Quoted Prices
CampusBookRentals.com reserves the right
to cancel any order that results from an error in pricing such as erroneous information
from our suppliers or a typographical error. If CampusBookRentals.com discovers
an error in pricing, we will contact the customer immediately upon discovery to resolve
Buying Used Books
Books are available to purchase from our (acceptably used) rental inventory. Ownership of purchased books transfers to you at the time of delivery.
Rented titles fromt he same online order are still subject to our rental policies outlined below.
Returning Books at the End of Your Rental Period
WE PROVIDE YOUR ENVELOPE WITH PREPAID SHIPPING!! That's right, along with every
rental, you’ll receive a return mailer envelope
that has a prepaid and preaddressed USPS label already attached to the exterior.
Your envelope will either be included inside the original shipment along with your
book, or it may arrive separately up to 30 days after your order. Simply open the
envelope, place your book(s) inside, and drop the package off at the nearest United
States Post Office or blue Post Office drop box. Click here to find the location

It ensures that your books are returned to the correct warehouse located in Ogden,
UT, with definitive tracking. Even if you are returning a book early because of
a dropped class or any other reason, we'll provide you with the prepaid USPS shipping
label to get it back to us correctly (simply access this label inside your customer
account). It's one more thing we do to make the textbook rental process as painless
as possible. When we receive your textbooks, your account will be updated to show
the books were returned and you'll receive a confirmation email. This return process
completes the rental cycle and clears your account.
We have structured our rental periods to fit the needs of a college student. The
last thing we want is you worrying about not getting your book back to us on time.
We have incorporated, at no extra charge, a 15 day grace period which allows you
to rent your books early or hold on to them longer in the case of a later than normal
final exam. Each rental period and our grace period are discussed in detail below.
All of our rental periods come with a 15 (fifteen) day grace period. We've been
in your shoes. Sometimes you would like to get your books early, or you need to
take a make-up final exam. Our 15 day grace period allows you the flexibility to
hold on to the book long enough to get you through to the bitter end. Don't hesitate
to use it. That's why it's there! The grace period applies to all of the rental
periods below (for example, the 130 day rental period gives you 145 days to get
the book back to our warehouse). The grace period does not apply to any rental/extension
after the original rental period.
Semester (130 days)
This rental period was designed for students attending full semesters. All textbooks
rented under this rental period must be returned to our warehouse 145 days from
the day your books were rented, See how easy the return process is in the "Return

Quarter (85 days)
This rental period is used mainly by students on quarters or in a Master’s
program. All textbooks rented under this rental period must be returned to
our warehouse 100 days from the day your books were rented. See how easy the return
process is in the "Return Your Books" section below.
Summer (55 days)
This rental period is used mainly by students taking summer courses or those taking
intense (condensed) courses year round. All textbooks rented under this rental
period must be returned to our warehouse 70 days from the day your books were rented.

We offer 15 and 30 day extensions if you find yourself needing to keep your book
just a bit longer. Extending your rental period is easy. Simply access your account,
choose the amount of time to extend, and checkout. Your account will be updated
to show the new rental period.
If you need to retake a class you can re-rent your book for 30% less than the original
rental price. This still saves you big time over purchasing it. Simply access your
account, select the “Re-Rent” button and continue the checkout process.

Buying Your Book
If you decide you want to keep your book forever, simply access your account and
select the book(s) you wish to buy and click the “buy and keep my books”
box on the left hand side of your screen. The amount to buy and keep your book(s)
is the difference between what you already paid in rental fees and the value of
. If you decide to purchase the book, simply complete
the checkout process. Your account will be updated to show the new status. This
is why renting is truly risk free.
Books not Returned on Time
We will do our best to make returning your books simple and easy. As stated above,
we even provide the return package with prepaid label already attached. If however,
books are not returned at the end of the rental period (and after the grace period),
as specified in the rental agreement, the renter will be notified via email that
their card will be charged for a 15 day extension of their book(s). If the book
is not returned by the end of the 15 days the next charge will be for the purchase
price of the book, which is Market Value of Book at time of Rental - (Rental Fee
+ Extension) = Purchase price of book. We work very hard to resolve every return
discrepancy. After all, our wish is to keep you as a happy customer and continue
to rent textbooks to you throughout your college career. The value of the textbook
is determined to be the value of the book at the time it was initially rented; not
the value at the time the card is charged.
Ownership of Rentals
Books rented from Campus Book Rentals, Inc. are the property of CampusBookRentals.com.
At no time during the rental period does the renter obtain ownership of the books
unless the renter purchases them according to the terms above.
Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Rental Books and our Loss / Damage Protection Program
CampusBookRentals.com is liable and responsible for the condition of rented textbooks
only until they are received by the renter at the onset of the rental period. At
the time of initial receipt, you, the renter, take full responsibility for the textbook.
If textbook is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond reasonable use (cover ripped off,
pages torn out, excessive water damage, etc.) renter will be responsible to either
replace textbook with textbook in similar condition, or be charged the full value
for the textbook. Campus Book Rentals, Inc. understands normal wear and tear on a textbook.
Even highlighting is permitted. Excessive damage is any damage that would prevent
another student from being able to reasonably use the book and obtain full learning
value from it. Our unique loss/damage protection program affords you peace of mind
while renting your books. Protected books are covered against theft, loss, or damage.

If you select the protection option during final checkout, should your book become
lost, stolen, or damaged beyond reasonable use, we will promptly send you a placement
copy (if you still require the use of your book), or waive the full purchase fee.
When you protect your books, you can worry about your studies, not your books. See
our Example and Terms and Conditions below.
Example: A book that rents for $55 has a value of approximately $137. If this book
was not protected and needed to be replaced, the student would be charged an additional
$82. With the loss/damage protection however, the student would pay only a fee of
$13.75 (fee is equal to 25% of the rental price) saving the student $68.25.
Email and Text Message Notifications
Notifications or receipts from CampusBookRentals.com will be delivered to you by email
at the address you provided to CampusBookRentals.com when you create your account or
as later updated. You may also opt to receive text message reminders from CampusBookRentals.com,
as a courtesy to you. CampusBookRentals.com may contact you, sometimes through an automated or
pre-recorded message, using the phone numbers you provide to CampusBookRentals.com, to remind
you that rental books are due to be returned or otherwise provide the Services.

Terms and Conditions
- You will receive up to 3 text messages per order for reminder texts and up to 1 message per week for marketing texts. You will receive a confirmation of service message, and you may need to reply to complete SMS registration. Texts messages may be sent using automated dialing services. Sign-up consent is not required for rental or purchases of our goods or services or for any other reason. Standard text messages and data charges may apply. Check with your carrier to find out what plans are available and how much the services will cost you. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- You may opt out of receiving text messages from CampusBookRentals.com by replying "STOP" to any text. You agree to receive a final text message confirming your opt-out. You may also opt out of receiving texts from CampusBookRentals.com by going to the CampusBookRentals.com website and signing into your account, then opting out in the Profile Information.
Loss/damage protection is not required. Books can only be protected at the time
of initial rental. The loss/damage protection price varies based on the book. Books
not protected will be subject toCampusBookRentals.com’s terms for replacing
lost, stolen, or damaged textbooks according to the Rental Agreement. Protection
period for the covered books is for the term of the rental and grace period only.
Protection will not transfer to any other book, including replacement book, unless
it is also purchased on the replacement book at time of replacement. A fee in the
amount of 25% of the rental price must be paid via credit card at time of any loss
or damage claim. Protection only covers rented textbooks against loss, theft, or
damage which renders the book unusable and valueless to CampusBookRentals.com. Loss/damage
fraud is strictly punished by law. CampusBookRentals.com reserves the right to decline
loss/damage protection to customers if instances of fraud or misuse are detected.
Customers are encouraged to keep a copy of their receipt as it displays which books
are insured. Any claim must be made via email to

against. Claims are processed within 24-48 hours excluding weekends and major holidays.
If your payment information changes during the period in which you are renting books,
it is your responsibility to login to your account and edit or update your payment
Orders are processed through CampusBookRentals.com in a very timely manner. If you
need to cancel an order for any reason, you must contact Campus Book Rentals, Inc. IMMEDIATELY
